Breakout sessions
- DURATION: 1 HOUR
Lecture-style presentations covering all topics at all levels and delivered by AWS experts, builders, customers, and AWS Partners.
Builders’ sessions
- DURATION: 1 HOUR
Small-group sessions led by an AWS expert who guides you as you experiment and build a service or product on your own laptop.
Chalk talks
- DURATION: 1 HOUR
Highly interactive sessions where experts lead you through problems and solutions on a digital whiteboard as the discussion unfolds.
Code talks
- DURATION: 1 HOUR
Engaging, code-focused sessions with a small audience. AWS experts lead a live coding discussion as they explain the “why” behind AWS solutions.
Gamified learning sessions
- DURATION: 2.5 HOURS
Real-world security scenarios where you can sharpen your problem-solving skills, get help and clues from AWS experts, and have fun.
Lightning talks
- DURATION: 20 MINUTES

Levels

Find your level

Sessions are offered at three levels so you can find tailored learning at your level of experience. Levels are indicated in the session ID, available when the catalog launches.

200 – Intermediate
Sessions at the 200 level assume a general knowledge of the topic and provide a technical exploration into an AWS service or use case. Level 200 content typically includes architecture, integration, and configuration of common use cases, plus tips and tricks, best practices, or high-level troubleshooting guidance.
300 – Advanced
Sessions at the 300 level assume proficiency in the topic and typically cover architecture, development, deployment, and examples in-depth. Level 300 content provides a rigorous exploration into how a service can be used through detailed use cases that address the needs of experienced AWS users.
400 – Expert
Level 400 sessions are for advanced and expert AWS customers. These sessions are designed for super-skilled users who want to learn the detailed inner workings of AWS services. Level 400 content demonstrates complex design, development, and deployment strategies to give attendees a highly technical understanding of the topic.
